My name is Bonard Alfin — a DIY enthusiast, aspiring sound engineer, music technologist, and maker at heart.
My journey into the world of audio began back in 2007, when I first developed an interest in audio recording. At that time, resources on digital audio recording were scarce, which inspired me to start learning and experimenting on my own. By 2009, I decided to share my knowledge and experiences through a blog called DISTORSI, where I wrote extensively about home recording and audio technology.
In 2012, I had the opportunity to become a distributor of recording equipment through Kairos Multi Jaya, which led me to establish TOKO DISTORSI. Over the years, the store provided more than a thousand products to musicians and creators before I eventually decided to close that chapter of my journey.
Since 2007, I’ve been working as a sound engineer, continuously learning, experimenting, and building projects related to audio. From DIY gear to music technology explorations, I’ve always been driven by curiosity and the joy of creating.
Today, I continue to explore the intersection of sound, technology, and creativity, constantly working on projects that merge my passion for audio engineering with my love for making things from scratch.
